Enjoyable but crowded

We took the London Ghosts Ghouls & Taverns tour and generally had a good time. The storytelling was excellent, and our guide was very enthusiastic. My only minor gripe was that the group felt a little large, making it hard to hear at times, especially in noisier areas. The booking process was smooth online, and the meeting point was easy to find. Good value for an evening out.

Detailed tour experience

I booked the Sex Scandal Sin & Harlots tour a couple of weeks ago. The online booking system was straightforward, and I received confirmation quickly. Our guide was waiting at the specified meeting point, which was clearly communicated in the pre-tour email. The tour itself covered a lot of ground, both geographically and historically, lasting a little over two hours. The stories were well-researched and presented engagingly. I had a question about a historical figure during the tour, and the guide provided a clear, detailed answer. Overall, a very informative and well-executed experience. Definitely recommend for anyone interested in London's lesser-known past.

Always a great time

I've booked with Imagine Experiences a few times now, and they always deliver. This last time I did the London Ghosts Ghouls & Taverns tour. It was just as well-organized and engaging as the Sex Scandal Sin & Harlots tour I did last year. They're consistently good, which is why I keep coming back for more of their unique London experiences.

Good tour

Did the Spy for a Day James Bond-themed experience. It was fun. Booking was easy. Guide was knowledgeable. No complaints, worth the money.

Fantastic Soho Music Tour!

I just went on The London Soho Music Experience and it was absolutely brilliant! The guide knew so much and brought the whole area to life. I learned so many new things about my favorite bands. I'm already planning my next booking, probably the Exotic East End tour, and I've told all my friends they need to check Imagine Experiences out!

Fun London walk

Me and my mate went on the Exotic East End tour last weekend. It was pretty chill, not too long, and we saw some cool stuff we wouldn't have found on our own. The guide was easy-going, made it a good afternoon. Booking online was no hassle, and the directions to the start were clear. Felt like a good way to spend a Saturday.

If I book a small group tour, how many people are usually in it? Don't want it to be massive.

A Andre Z. 1 month ago
They typically keep their 'small group' stuff to around 10-15 people max, sometimes even less. It's never like those huge bus tours.

My group for the Soho music tour was about 12, felt really intimate.

Thinking of bringing my two nephews to one of the tours, they're 9 and 12. Are the tours generally okay for kids, or more of an adult vibe?

K Kate 1 month ago
Depends on the tour. The ghost one might be a bit much for a 9-year-old, but the Spy for a Day could be cool. Better check the specific tour details first.

I took my 11-year-old on the East End tour and he loved it, but it was pretty mild. Some of the 'scandal' ones are definitely adult-themed.

Thinking of getting a gift voucher for a friend. Do those things expire? Or can they hold onto it for a bit?

R Renee F. 2 months ago
Yeah, I got one last Christmas and it has a pretty long expiry, like a year or two I think. They're usually quite generous with the dates.

Mine was valid for a full 24 months, so plenty of time to decide!

Has anyone done their 'Sex Scandal' tour? Wondering if it's actually good or just a bit cheesy compared to Virgin Experience Days?

S Sophie Kaur 1 month ago
I did it! Totally not cheesy, really well done and the guides are fantastic. Much more personal than some of the bigger tour operators.

It's different. Imagine's tours are usually smaller groups and more story-driven, feels more authentic than the mass-market stuff you get from the others.

Is it easy to cancel a booking if something comes up? Or are they super strict with their policy?

S Sam 2 months ago
I had to reschedule once and it was pretty straightforward, just gave them a heads-up a week before. Might depend on how close to the date it is though.

Yeah, I think if you give them enough notice, they're usually pretty understanding. Check their cancellation terms on the site, I remember seeing different cut-offs.
